Animated Destroyah

Godzilla Animated Series Concept Bio:

Destroyah is the oldest living organism on the planet. She may not be THE oldest organism, but she certainly isn't a spring chicken.

Starting her life as a parasitic amoeba from the very first era that saw land based organism, her life cycle included infecting a host and making her way to the lungs. There she would feed off the oxygen in the tissue, excreting carbon monoxide and clutches of eggs directly into the lungs. When the host died, and was eaten by another organism, the eggs would be passed on and the cycle continued.

Several millennium later, scientists found this parasite in a frozen bit of rock from the deepest oceans, brought to the surface by the impact of the asteroid--which would soon bring its own problems.

Seeing the outstanding potential as a weapon, an "Oxygen Destroyer" as it soon was called, military scientists began work on multiplying this single sample. But disaster soon struck.

After the secret lab was one of the casualties of the latest Godzilla attack, his residual radiation started a chain reaction in the reproduced cells, forcing them to grow and combine. Within a matter of days, a terrible great wyrm rose from the rubble. Destroyah was born anew.

In this new evolved form, Destroyahs age brings great strength and guile. Her goal however remains the same, feeding off of the nearby oxygen, and excreting large clouds of carbon monoxide which have been known to kill hundreds.
